Funny how cold, old, boring rain can change how things look through a window.  Lines that are usually straight suddenly go all wavy and take on interesting shapes beyond recognition.

For your information: the dark line at the top is a bridge in the distance, and the white and orange one is the bar in front of a ferry entrance.

Funny what kind of things one starts noticing when it is raining and one is bored waiting for the ferry to arrive.

Hhmm…..   … maybe a Bargello quilt?

  1. When I was an art student I remember creating patterns on graph paper in our design class that were very similar to Bargello quilts. Distortions of everyday subjects are certainly mind-stimulating.
